MAC Wonder Woman Collection Looks!

Ahhhh so it's here at last! The MAC exclusive Wonder Woman Collection! This is a classic. I wasn't too thriller with the Villain one because the makeup looks were pretty dark. I'm excited for this collection because it is a mix of light shadows along with bright and bold colors. Here's some pics of the different makeup looks you can achieve. The products are available at MAC stores now. Cheers!

Ruffled Apron Pattern

This spark of interest in blogging and making videos has encouraged me to show what I have made from the info of the blogs that I follow. I found this apron on www.morganmoore.typepad.com. Simplicity also has a pattern in 3752. I loved the pattern so much I had to try it! I used some left over Day of the Dead fabric pieces along with some gingham fabric, you can also use polka dot fabric with another print. I loved the way it came out and it was very easy to follow her pattern. I want to thank her for her posting. This item is for sale on my etsy page. I would love to hear your feedback and pics of aprons that you have made:)

Manic Panic Vampire Red

Hello Everyone! Today I tried out the Manic Panic Vampire Red Hair Color. I was more interested in a brighter result, but I was scared of coming out with a orangy color, so I started out by dying my hair with Garnier HerbaShine in Mahogany Brown. Of course the color never comes out the same...urrghhh. It came out dark dark brown almost black, as you can see in the pic...After that I applied the Manic Panic for 1 hour. The bottle says to leave it on for 15 minutes, but after doing much research on it, I found that this product is vegan and does not damage your hair if you leave it on a little longer. I've even heard of people leaving it in for 4 hours.....thats too longer for me. I couldn't stand it that long. After rinsing and blow drying you can barely see the red in the video, but in different lighting, it pops out. I have to say I would buy the Manic Panic product again. I am going to wait a while for the brown to fade then I will try it again. I have medium length hair and I only used a lil more then half of the bottle. I also read that you can add the rest of what you have to your shampoo for longer lasting color. Thanks for reading guys. Please leave me your feedback or any questions...

-XOXO Jenny!

My Hair after applying Garnier HerbaShine in Mahogany Brown....looks black though...

Now the fun part! Manic Panic Yaaahh!!

The Final Results...wish it was lighter, but overall I'm happy with it:)

Inspiration

Hey Ladies and maybe gents too! Today's posting is based on what had inspired me to open up an Etsy Shop. Well where do I begin...Two years ago, when the economy crisis was at it's peek I was layed off from work. I was very devastated, but tried to look at the bright side. Thank God for unemployment benefits! While I was on unemployment and looking for work I decided to use all the time I had to start sewing items. I had seen many people posting their items on myspace and I figured hey, why not do that too! So, thats when I began to make and post things little by little. Before I knew it I had lots of customers and many invites to vend at rockabilly shows and crafts fairs. I have always loved the Dia De Los Muertos Holiday. It is a Catholic holiday and has much meaning to it. Unfortunately it is confused at times for Halloween, but it is definately different. If you haven't heard about the Dia De Los Muertos I would strongly recommend you do. Especially if your into folk art. This Holiday is what inspires my work. Here's some pics of items I have made and events i've sold at...
