The second apron I purchased at 4th street in Long Beach 12.00

A little tea towel I purchased at King Richards Antique Store in Whittier, ca 8.00

Bought this because it has a map of the state. My family is from there.

A pot that I bought from a thrift store. 7.00
Reminds me of the Brady Bunch!

These pots were given to me by a friend. She's a doctor in her 60s and they were her mothers....one of them has a measuring table! Thought that was pretty interesting!

These were given to me by my Aunt. I love them!

This poster was given to me by another great aunt of mine. She was actually using these at her job to advertise an event they were having. It is hanging in my kitchen. I think its really cool!

ME!

Hello again errbody! So here's my favorite pic of myself from a photo shoot I did last year. Sadly this is the only pic I got out of it. Thanks to a friend that was there and happend to take a quick pic with her phone. Well even though I am totally mad with the way things turned out(photo shoot)..I am not going to name any names. I'm just going to let you all in on some advice if you are planning on doing a photo shoot of any kind. This particular photo shoot was to promote the business of the photographer, makeup artist, and designer(Jenny's Vintage). We all were going to come together to do this photoshoot to help one another with our new businesses. Long story short the photo shoot was a success, so I thought...everyone came together and did their very best at it....Well we never recieved the pics from the photographer. Not one single unedited picture! So I would like to give you all who starting their own business, building your portfolio, whether it be for makeup, hair, or fashion. Make sure you sign some kind of agreement with your photographer even if its all for free to help one another out or maybe even get your own chip for the camera. Myself and the other people involved in the photoshoot are really disappointed with the out come and as for the photographer I haven't heard one word..So ya it sucks, but life goes on right! I also wanted to tell you guys I made that dress! I wore it with a petty coat...I wish I had those pics to show you guys..lol

I'm a first timer!!

I am doing this because I want to give out some useful information to my myspace friends. I will use this blog to post tutorials on crocheting, sewing, and just about everything that has to do with DIY! Times are hard and when it comes to looking cute or fixing up your place we gotta use what we already have or find something cheep to use, so for my first blog I will be showing you guys how to make super cute vintage hair accessories! Thanks for reading my blog and stay tuned!
